My name is Josh Hurley. My wife Jackie and I and our 3 girls live in Cascade, Idaho. We believe we were called to Cascade for one purpose: To help build the Body into the head who is Christ. Imagine what a great and incredible gift each of us have in working together to become ONE with God! His Spirit lives in us and actively guides our lives telling us whom to speak to, how to pray, when to move, and when to stay. Our job is to be obedient. Justice is not well founded on mob rule any more than it is well founded on biased or bad police officers. When we speak for justice for George Floyd, should we not also speak for justice for Derek Chauvin? Lady justice wears a blindfold. Maybe she should wear noise-cancelling headphones as well?

A sheep was known for its obedience, so it was made a bellwether by the Shepherd. Eventually all the sheep found it easier to just follow the bellwether instead of knowing the Shepherd's voice, themselves. Then, disaster struck.

When God calls us to be obedient in something, it rarely makes sense. These words have driven me the last year of my life: There is obedience and disobedience, everything else is a game we play for people around us and that we believe we can play with God.
